Camping des deux Séquoias, located in Nant, in the heart of the Larzac, a region rich in history and breathtaking landscapes.

Dear lovers of nature, wide open spaces and enchanting landscapes, let yourself be seduced by a true haven of peace nestled on the banks of the peaceful river Dourbie.

The Camping des 2 Séquoias, our little corner of paradise in the heart of the magnificent Larzac plateau, welcomes you from June 1, 2025. The days are warm and sunny while the cool nights (500m above sea level) allow a long-awaited restful sleep during the holiday periods.

We are, Agnès and Franck, a couple passionate about nature, the beauty of the great outdoors and eager to share with you our love for this authentic region.

After a career in the automotive industry, I chose to devote myself to this adventure by carrying out my project that has been close to my heart for so many years, and alongside Agnès, who continues her commitment as a mathematics teacher, private lessons possible in July and August.

At the Camping des 2 Séquoias, make way for serenity and wild beauty. No artificial swimming pool, but a natural swim in the clear waters of the Dourbie. Listen to the birds singing, breathe in the fresh air, and let yourself be lulled by the murmur of the river throughout your stay.

Larzac Plateau

Nant is an enchanting medieval village located in the south of the Aveyron, just a 10-minute walk from our campsite. Dominated by its 16th century abbey church, the village offers a fascinating historical setting. As you stroll through its cobbled streets, you will discover local shops. (Supermarket, bars, butcher's, bakery, restaurants, post office, tourist office, doctor's office.....) as well as a weekly market where local products will delight your taste buds.

The centre of the village is a real gem, with its lively halls where it is good to have a drink or enjoy a meal on the terrace. The art galleries, scattered throughout the village, are a testament to the creativity of local artists and add a cultural touch to your visit.

A remarkable curiosity of Nant is its clever system of many canals, built by the monks in the 12th century, which irrigates the village and feeds magnificent flower gardens. This water network, which is still in operation, bears witness to the ingenuity of the builders of yesteryear.

Nant is at the crossroads of Aveyron, Lozère, Gard and Hérault. The campsite of the two Sequoias offers varied and hilly landscapes (the Causses, the Cévennes and the vertiginous cliffs of the Dourbie and the Jonte). In addition, the town of Nant is home to more than a dozen churches, some of which are Romanesque, each with its own unique charm, offering a dive into the religious history of the region. In short, Nant is a place where history, culture and nature meet, promising an unforgettable experience for all who venture there.
